Tuesday morning round up

Reece Oxford looks to have completed a season long loan deal to play for German side Borussia Mönchengladbach. Gladback ply their trade in Germany’s top division, having finished 9th in The Bundesliga last season it looks like a valuable challenge for the West Ham academy graduate.

There seems to be a story that Cheik Kouyate wants to leave the club, I’m not 100 per cent sure if his agent or the player has been misquoted but it is important to remember that Nigerian news outlets shouldn’t be seen as anywhere near a reliable source of information. Kouyate is happy at the club and has no plans to leave The Hammers.

Various news outlets are reporting that Huddersfield Town and Leeds United are interested in Hammers striker Ashley Fletcher. It may well be true but it’s best to take this with a pinch of salt as I’ve been hearing similar stories regarding Ashley Fletcher since last August now.

Last week it was reported that despite previous interest in Joe Hart, The Hammers had seemingly cooled interest due to the pleura wages. Various news outlets are now reporting that the Manchester City goalkeeper would be interested in moving to The Hammers, despite this being reported the club are still not prepared in paying the full amount of the goalkeeper’s wage whether a loan or permanent deal could be constructed or not.

It is now official that West Ham and Southampton’s fixtures have been reversed. The Saints will host West Ham on the second weekend of the season whilst Saints will take on The Hammers at The London Stadium on the last weekend of March. Please note that both fixtures can be changed at any time due to Sky and BT not releasing their live televised matches yet.

Yesterday news broke that West Ham Co owner Dave Sullivan’s House was broken into. Dave Sullivan Jnr has stated that there is a £25k reward for anyone that comes forward with the information that leads to the arrest and prosecution of the individual.
