Wednesday evening round up

Firstly let’s start of with the home kit launch this morning. I thought the video package looked pretty good, a definite improvement from last seasons kit launch! When I saw the leaked pictures a few weeks ago I originally thought the shirt wasn’t attractive at all but it’s starting to grow on me now I’ve seen official pictures.

For those that missed the video, here it is. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=B00DBUYaGko

Håvard Nordtveit signed for Hoffenheim on a deal worth £4 million, potentially rising to £5 million dependant on appearances.

With the sale of Håvard it frees up 45k a week in wages, an earning of £4 million on a player that we signed for free 12 months ago and it gives players like Josh Cullen a chance to get some first team action with The Hammers.

Today the club confirmed Reece Oxford has signed on loan for the team in which The Hammers signed Håvard Nordtveit from 12 months ago on a free transfer. Borussia Mönchengladbach wanted to loan the player for two years but The Hammers only wanted the player loaned out for one year. Reece has been handed the number 3 shirt so hopefully that’s a sign that the youngster is looked upon favourably by the German Bundesliga team and he can get some well needed matches under his belt.

Olivier Giroud is said to be interested in listening to The Hammers but Arsene Wenger wants to keep the French striker with The Gunners having to take on a bigger schedule this coming season with the Europa League.

Leicester City and Swansea are said to be interested in Manchester City striker Iheanacho, The Hammers and The Citizens are still yet to agree on any kind of a fee regarding the buy back clause which Manchester City are insisting on having included in any deal for the player.

Adama Traore is said to be cutting his holiday short to fly to England, the player will meet with officials from two Premier League clubs, West Ham United being one of them.

Mark Noble has welcomed the arrival of Pablo Zabaleta to West Ham United and cannot wait to line-up alongside the Argentina international in claret and blue. Full article: http://www.whufc.com/news/articles/2017/june/21-june/noble-welcomes-all-round-good-fella-zabaleta-west-ham#3YGrOvhHDy7LOixb.99
